Structural steel construction
In structural steel construction, we create the load-bearing structures for buildings and industrial plants. We build everything from the single component to the complete large-scale structure. We accompany the entire process: structural design and engineering (statics, CAD), cutting by flame, saw and plasma cutting, drilling, bending and welding the components, and assembling entire sub-assemblies. All welding work is carried out certified to DIN standards. This is followed by surface treatment and corrosion protection in the form of blasting, priming or coating. The result: hall frames, load-bearing structures, platforms, podiums, stairs and complete steel structures that are assembled to precise fit on site.
Vessel and apparatus construction
In vessel and apparatus construction, we manufacture custom-made components for industrial processes. These include vessels, tanks, silos, tube bundles and apparatus, which we accompany from design to the finished component. We handle the design and statics, cutting and forming the sheet metal, rolling and welding the shells, and the installation of heads, nozzles and internals. All weld seams are carried out certified, and we ensure quality through pressure tests and non-destructive testing. After surface treatment and corrosion protection, we deliver process-reliable vessels and apparatus for industries such as energy, chemicals, cement and the raw materials industry.
Conveyor technology
In conveyor technology, we make sure that material reliably gets from A to B. This usually involves bulk materials such as cement, gravel, biomass or waste. We design the systems, manufacture them and install them on site: belt and chain conveyors, bucket elevators, screw and roller conveyors, plus chutes, bunkers, silos and metering and discharge equipment. Because continuous operation involves high forces and abrasion, we plan wear protection and suitable linings in from the start. The result is a material flow that keeps running, even under load.
Pipeline construction
In pipeline construction, we connect plants into a working system. This mainly involves steam, water, gases or process media. We handle pipeline planning including isometrics, the prefabrication of bends and fittings, cutting and welding, right through to on-site installation including pipe supports. For pressurised pipelines, we work to the applicable regulations and ensure quality through pressure tests and non-destructive testing such as X-ray or ultrasound.
Mechanical engineering
Our mechanical engineering ranges from design in our own department to the finished machine. We develop and calculate components in CAD, manufacture them by turning, milling and drilling – including CNC machining of large parts – and assemble them into complete units. Added to this are special machine construction, the manufacture of spare parts, and the repair and overhaul of machines and components. This produces individual components as well as complete machines, tailored to our customers' requirements.
Assembly
In assembly, we bring together what has been prepared in design and the workshop. Our teams are out and about everywhere from northern Germany to the coast of Cyprus. They assemble steel structures, plants, conveyor technology and pipelines directly at the customer's site: components are lifted and rigged with cranes, aligned, bolted and welded. This also includes dismantling and conversions, overhauls and planned plant shutdowns, as well as ongoing maintenance. Experienced assembly and site management steers the operations, and occupational safety always comes first.
Electrical Installation
RöHrs Elektromontage brings power and control to the plant. We handle the complete electrical installation of industrial plants: cable routes and wiring, switch cabinet and switchgear construction, and the wiring and connection of motors and drives. A key focus is I&C technology (instrumentation and control), including instrumentation and field wiring. Testing to DIN, commissioning and service in the event of faults round off the range of services, so that in the end everything runs safely and flows reliably.
